Thomas, is this Ilford WT rather than MGIV? It has a nice warmth but I had always assumed that LPD was a neutral devSecondly which Pentax model is this? I have an interest in Pentax cameras, having both an SLR and P645N. Oh, and a grandson of a similar age. So an interest from several anglesThanks

Thanks for the kind words! Pentax - It's the regular MGIV, used with replenished LPD, toned in Moersch MT-3 and Harman Selenium. The camera is a Pentax KX, and the lens is a 50mm f/1.4 Pentax K mount, but I find that the camera plays less and less into the equation the more I use them. I get about the same results with the Leica M2 or the Pentax Spotmatic. Thanks for the interest.

Awesome. I was given a K1000 from a close friend and PBromaghin was kind enough to set me up with a release cable. I've been practicing with my daughter ever since. After seeing this I want to give Tri-X a shot. Been doing a lot of Tmax and Portra. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Bethe - that's the idea. Photos as gifts for people to hopefully cherish. The parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles all ended up liking it, so I'm very happy too. Laostyle - thank you. Tri-X is nice film, but it really is how you use your film that matters 90% and 10% which film you use. jmcd - thanks! I'm really happy with this picture.
