Over-exposed Txp320, Right?

I've been trying to copy the fantastic exposures I've seen someone else on this group get exposing TXP320 at EI 160, then developing 1:25 Rodinal @ 20C for 8 minutes, but I don't think it's working for me.

This film is over-exposed, right? Is it possible I'm over-agitating or something to blow out the highlights a little? (Agitation one minute, 10 seconds top of each additional minute.)

This is a negative scan, but the actual negatives look the same -- too dense in the highlights.

Just started developing my own film again and am trying to improve my exposures overall, so all advice is welcome.

Judging by my monitor I would say the exposure is not too bad as the contrast and detail in the darks of his sweater look great and the darks of the shadows of his eyes look about right. My thought would be that it is just over processed. The whites on his skin are definitely harsh.

it might be a little overexposed, but it's workable in my opinion, especially with fibre-based paper that will pick up more detail in the brighter areas. If every negative on your roll looks like this, take mark's advise as you did develop it too long (or exposed all your photos a little bit too long).
 
Hate to be an old fogey, but try rating it at 320 and developing in D-76. Rodinal has very low shadow contrast - conversely it has a lot of highlight contrast, which is what you seem to have much too much of. You can help matters by printing it down quite a bit - you have the skin highlights at almost white.
 
TXP is all about compressing the shadows, and expanding the highlights.

The film is MEANT to make the shadows darker, and the highlights brighter, than we'd normally get with TX or FP4.

Keep the development exactly as it is, and make some exposures at 400/320/250/16o and contact print them (or scan)

The picture looks nice at it is, but you should try a little less exposure to see what you prefer.
