Kevin, Thank You. I do seem to lean towards it - rational or not. There's a whole bunch of very highly skilled guys here who think its more heat than light. But for now, its a pleasant step of my journey. Pyro semi is the first soup I've tried where any 1/2-way viable shot would come out so sharp & contrasty - I backed some of the contrast down on several images. So a bit more practice/experience & I hope to gain a bit more finesse with it. This one had a single inversion @ 20 min. I'll try 2 or 3 inversions next time.

You just can't beat old decaying machinery as a subject for B&W...this works a treat.

Good! I keep wishing I could get access to some of the old derelict sawmills Some of that old equipment is amazing and multiple stories tall. 'Still trying to connect w/ the railroad companies to see if they have open house days to the public. There are several yards that hold the old historic engines. 'Hope all is very well your way, Tony.
