It was a wonderful time - meeting the neighbor swapping stories. That barn is so cool. The chickens had no fear - but didn't really want to be petted. The goats were just as curious & welcoming of affection as it could be. Ducks, turkey were more stand off-ish. We already get free - free-range eggs from a neighbor - who gets sourdough in return.

Trail, 'would never have guessed you worked chickens. 'Still think about 9s 1/4 mile trips. I came away w/ my usual critical ambivalence on my work - but this was somewhat of a subject that's hard to mess up. (almost said 'foul' up).
