Osier

In 2010 we had an unusual long winter with snow until end of March. There is not much snow in the North German Plains and when there is, not for long usually. The spring was rather cold and the summer very short with tropical temperatures up to 40°C. When heavy snowfall came back early in mid December I felt like the last winter had just been gone four weeks ago. This picture is taken at "Banter See", a former port basin in Wilhelmshaven on Christmas.
