Do you mean the stippled effect? I may be off the mark, but the first thing this suggested to me was reticulation, which would be caused by sudden changes in temperature between processing stages. Very cold wash water can cause this.
hi jonathan. i mean the "foggy" look. this roll of film sat in the nikon f-501 for much more than a year before it was developed, and all the shots on this roll which were taken at that time turned out like this. before developing the roll, i shot the remaining 10 frames or so, and those turned out "normal".
