ortho litho portrait

I feel like I'm finally making some progress using Arista Ortho Litho film for continuous tone negatives. This is a contact print of my son from a 4x5 lith negative. The print was scanned raw with all color and contrast adjustments disabled.

This film is never going to rival a "proper" black and white pan film, so my goal is no longer to try to make it. It has a look all its own. That said, I am still experimenting to make it more usable under more conditions; it would be nice, for example, to get some more speed out of it (this was rated at 3).
