This has the makings of a good photo but IMO you missed out. I feel that the garden wall should be parallel with the top of the picture. It would have been better to have shot it earlier before there were footprints in the snow. And finally IMO your exposure is wrong and the snow should be 1 stop brighter. This of course is but one person's opinion.
 
I like the angle the wall makes with the road behind--gives it a dynamic connection. The snow looks good to me--I like the texture.
 
Thanks for your interesting posts. My wife and I were discussing about the road as well. IMO it would be to static if it would be parallel to the wall. The snow is white on my monitor, but I have another one upstairs and will check the contrast. The footprints make the image IMO. Some on the way, the others not..
