Suzanne, it has a 40's movies quality to it. Something about the light... It's a beautiful composition. This photo makes me think about my own childhood, having lived by water for the most part of my life. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful. If you didn't live so far away, i would let you use my 12 YO daughter for a model. She exhibits many of these same qualities of transition from girl to young woman.

Makes me wistful of long past days on the dock at the camp in NB Canada.

This is beautiful, Suzanne. My first thought was that it reminded me of the pose in "Christina's World" from a different angle, and without the tension of Christina's predicament. (I love that painting.)

This one really does feel like a movie still- it's a scene from a film about someone right on that edge between adolescence and adulthood. Perfect.
