I have no idea what this scan looks like on the Web. Its my first attempt at stitching and adjusting a two scans together to replicate a 7x17 print.
This was taken in the evening. The light was low enough that it warranted a 40 second exposure at f/45. Twenty minutes later we were caught in a horrendous thunderstorm.
Alex,
Greetings from Salina. It is very challenging to translate the beauty of the Flint Hills to film and paper - you've done an outstanding job here!

Kent
Thanks Mike. Surprisingly, I've found the wind to be less of a problem with the big cameras than it is with the small ones. I've actually watched the camera visibly dance around during the exposure and still come up with a good clean sharp shot. There was a breeze blowing during this one so I was apprehensive about how the 40 second exposure would turn out.
Nice job Alex, good to see you working with the 7x17 - given time, I think you will find a whole new world to work with. And with this print, I can't wait to see what you do with the format.
