On Bended Knee

This man entered the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Morelia. He knelt and proceeded, on his knees, all the way up to the front. There he offered a prayer for some twenty minutes.

I felt rather voyeuristic snapping this photo; but on the other hand, it was the most sincere display of humility and faith that I have seen in many years- I had to have it.

Whatever his prayers were, I hope they were answered.
