Old Window, St Barth (hand-colored)

Fuji 690
Ilford FP4+

This is a lovely image but I am curious as to why you would choose to tint the boards green. I would like to see it with the window boards colored in some shade of brown to add to the feeling of age and blend in with the bricks.

Barbara Ann- The boards were close to that color. When I hand color, I generally look to match the colors of the original scene on the first attempt. After the first one, I may choose different colors for aesthetic reasons, but keeping it close (the first time) helps me see what initially drew me to the scene.
