I love all this old apothecary stuff. I once had to work on liquidating an entire two-room apartment FULL of this stuff. Some crazy collector guy had spent his whole life amassing it, and rented this apartment JUST to store it, and then wanted to sell it, so he hired us. Tons of glass bottles, hundreds and hundreds of mortar/pestle sets, old bandages, various flesh burning wound treatments made of mustard gas, etc. This picture reminds me of that guy's apartment. I photographed everything in that apartment on either a white or a black backdrop. What a pain in the arse!
Well done. Everything is well lighted. Must have been interesting.

I, too, love these old chemists' materials. My grandfather was a pharmacist, and I have one of his old metal mortar and pestle sets, scale with counter-weights (looks like brass to me), and some smaller colored bottles. Priceless.
