The Old Sheldon Church near Beaufort, SC. Built in the 1700's by setlers and burned by the British in the Revolutionaary War. rebuilt in the 1800's and again buirned by the Yankees, under Gen. Sherman in the 1860's. Now, unable to support a roof, it remains a wonderful place for solace, quiet and photography and peace.
