Old Home Place: Turned out to a pasteur-field for grazing

Taken in Madison County, Ga a number of years ago.
This once very beautiful farm mansion was placed behind a fence for cows to graze upon, then a few months later, the fence came down, the old ( Once Beautiful House) came down. It was replaced by a new -very urbanite type structure.
Progress I suppose. But let us as photographers save images of old structures for future generations. No P/S on this print except to resize.

Good looking place. Thanks for the shot.

Funny, I look at this place, and see my grandparents. And my folks as kids.

Nice place.

Thanks so much. Old Houses and Barns, old store etc. are rapidly disappearing from Ga. Though I live 125 Miles Northeast of Atlanta, you can already begin to see Atlanta's "sprawl."
