Old Furnace

I keep visiting this site while on my vacation in New Hampshire. It is one of the oldest surviving blast furnaces for Iron built around 1805. At one time there was a large wooden structure around it.

It looks small in the photo, but I think the arches are about 15 feet high. I had to take this across a small river because it is on private property and I guess the structure is unstable.
