Old Fence

I shot this in July up in Northern Michigan. Using up the last of my (70mm cut down to 120) HIE stash. Boy I am going to miss this film! There is just nothing out there that works as well and is fast enough to hand hold. Oh well I guess its time to move on.

What a fascinating photograph. It's unlike any I've seen of this very familiar motif. I guess the way the equal sided fence falls off, the lacelike quality of it , and then both the foreground foliage and the dark sky accentuate it so well. It has such a sense of dignity. Thanks.

Thanks Alden & Deitmar, I appreciate the feedback! Infrared film is a really cool medium to work with. I hope somebody trys making a film like HIE someday, its speed will be missed.

Thankyou Kathleen,

I just happen to check my image and saw your comment just now. I bet you never run out of cool things to phtograph in California.
