Old Customs Path

Thomas*Krebs gave me the kick to try my new warmtone paper. Unfortunately I do not get the scan to look like the print. I hope you get the idea.
The picture was taken recently on the old customs path along the Flensburg Fjord on the danish side near Kollund. The Kollund Wood, an area of about 170 acres of mixed forrest with a large population of old beeches, is an important recreation area for the people of Flensburg. It was owned by the city of Flensburg since the late 19th century.
Unfortunately the council sold it in May this year to a private person in Denmark for as much as 1.2 Mill. Euro to help balance the city's budget.
As the buyer is not obliged by contract to keep it as it is, it is to be feared that it will be loted some day and covered with luxury homes having a nice view onto the Flensburg Fjord and the skyline of Flensburg.

Hi Thomas and Tony,
as you may see from the exposure information this is all i could get. As always when I go out with the Automat or my Olys I only had a monopod with me.
There are some more to be printed actually. I do not have the chance to go there that often but I hope it will be save at least the next few years.

cheers
Ulrich
