This is quite an image. The dramatic angle is quite confronting and the delineated foreground is effective at leading the eye in. It's a little crooked in the orthogonals, but hey, aren't most old churches? ...
 
I like this one as well, can't say why but I do.

Sheesh Gary, crooked orthogonals, what next? Actually that is very artistic description of the picture as presented, reasonably accurate as well. :smile:

But a crooked orthogonal, they look as though they are at right angles to each other, must be the tripod sinking a bit to the left. Tripod legs could never be orthogonal, or could they?

Tony, I find a YG filter good for this subject, but an orange filter better for this kind of stonework, did you use the YG because of the surrounds?
