I really like it, but would crop the rail off the bottom.

I agree, crop the railing off the bottom and a little off the right (railing). Very nice photograph though. Good use of filters to render more drama in the sky. I've been Barnegat light once. It is beautiful.

Thanks for the comments. Never gave it any thought to crop. Next trip to the dark side I will have to give it a try see what it does.

Lovely photo.
I like the out of focus fence at the bottom, it gives it depth and scale and I think the picture wouldn't be as balanced with the light house extending close to the lower edge.
Don't listen to me though, I'm known for my odd tastes :0)

I like the railing too. Draws your eye up the light.

i like the photo. not the railing. IMO most of the time the foreground should be in focus or it (usually) detracts form the photo.
