Love It!!!
the depth of field really works great on this shot. I believe that if everything was in focus there would be too much confusion with the branches. But with the out of focus area it gives it depth and a dreamy feel to it.

This is excellent, I agree 300% with Michael about the depth of field. I think this is much more powerful and...focused..?

That is a remarkable shot Jim- a bit whimsical, with a subtly unusual sense of scale due to the aperture selection. Well done!

Vic, I like this one also. I took a really sharp shot with my 21 1/4" Ilex process lens and the tree in the far distance in the middle is in sharp focus. It looses some of the mystery. This image hods the mystery and gives me the effect I was after.
