Kevin, your New York City photos are what I dearly wish I had taken while I was there. I'm really enjoying looking at the four you've posted today.

Thanks, Molli. These were all taken from the rooftop of our friends' apartment at the corner of 7th Ave and 17th St. Our last visit was nine years ago and it was great to come back and take some more photos.

I was staying on 9th between 1st and 2nd Ave (East Village) for a month back in 2001. Given what was going on at the time (September), it took me six years before I made myself get all of my photos developed. It was looking at those photos and how bad they were which made me want to actually start paying attention to what I was photographing. Had I come home with photos like you've taken, I'd have been well pleased! YOUR photos bring back the good parts of my trip over there, so my thanks for that!
