NY 501/049

My good friend Steve W. approaching the nameless summit at 1819 ft. One of several tops on the Bannisdale Horseshoe, a remote and desolate walk on the Eastern fringe of the Lake District. A memorable 11 mile plod, if only for the fact that my right boot sprung a leak 200 yards in. Squelch bloody squelch!

This is a grand shot! I love the fence line & your pal, but what really caps it are those wonderful mountains in the distance. Your tones there are wonderful! (Sorry about the leak. )
