with the lighting the model has a sculpted look-virtually statuesque and not the usual soft representations usually seen.In my imagination I can tell the model is real
thanks to the way the light is highlighting her hair.Makes her more distant and less aproachable(IMO).Why this approach as opposed to another if I may inquire.
Thanks for your comments Jim. This model was part of a studio session during a short course I did a while back. She actually was a bit distant and this type of lighting just seemed to work for me. None of the shots I took with normal "soft" lighting appealed to me a the time.
I'm assuming (oops) that this is a study of light and form rather than being simply a nude (as the title says) due to the pose and the lighting. If I'm correct then you have succeeded beautifully. Interesting choice of films for this subject but again I assume that's because you had to use a lab for processing.
