As natural a pose as one can get I suppose when working with wetplate and the nude. I asked the model to just stand there near the padlocked door and peeling paint while wearing her open robe and flip-flops, and I went off to sensitize the plate. When I returned after 5 minutes or so, she had assumed this pose and I directed her to gaze at the camera lens for the length of the exposure. There's a lot of time influencing this image.
This is a full-plate ruby ambrotype shot on deep purple stained glass. The plate was processed in the field using my portable darkbox.
