out of curiousity (and by NO MEANS a critique) is the texture part of the negative or the actual physical texture of the paper.

Gorgeous composition. Interesting play with the hand on the door knob, yet the bolt lock is in place. Lots of different scenarios you could come up with for that.

In reply the texture is the quality of the paper it is coated on, enhanced a bit by the scanner. And Eric, I find that doors are a great source of mystery, and use them in many of my portraits and nudes.

Stunning - I am sure this is a wonderful print Ray. Indeed the door knob really does add a sense of mystery/purpose. Lovely tones and good deep blacks!
