My joke about the "walk" light was that they had little green men all over Paris. Aliens had invaded and taken over control of pedestrians! I have a closeup I took of one of the signs that someone had graffiti'd (with my iPhone) where the Don't Walk guy had devil horns and a penis, and the Walk guy had a cane.
These are great. Note to self "try more night photography". Are you metering these or just guessing? What sort of exposure? Are you bracketing or just going for it.? Sorry lots of questions!
I'm metering, no bracketing. After shooting a lot of night photos, I've come to observe that with Portra 160, my average exposure time for street lamp lit scenes is roughly f16@ 16 seconds. If I get stuck without a meter and my phone is dead, I can use that and 99% of the time I'll have a useable negative.
