I like the double aspect of the same chair - I almost expect him to get up and move to the other chair. Then there is the other guy looking down at the bottom - maybe he will get up and take the other chair and the two can converse!

@Brendan Quirk hi Brendan I like your analogy, there were two chairs, the empty one I turned to face the viewer, I sat in the other. Somewhat about self reflection, but am always open to interpretation.
