  1. Yes
Now I have to buy a arsat shift lens. I gave an only just half an hour lecture in my life at university and subject was shift tilt control.I saw it at ansel book. Extremelly important subject for architecture. Using yellow filter is an excellent move , may be red later. I did not understand why muni. placed these pots ? I loved it and now time to view camera.

I keep thinking that it's the Flatiron and something else. The other building's shadow tells a second story.

Very nice.

I suppose you used maximum rise (shift) for this, which is close to a third of the frame at 11mm. Was the print easy to print, or was there a bit of fall off on one end? You are the first person I know of with one of these lenses, this looks terrific.

Mick.

@Mick Fagan Well deduced Mick, yes, rise cranked all the way so lens was pretty much on the level. This has a very slight crop of the top as right hand corner had some hard vignetting and left side cropped to eliminate a building edge which was distracting. At f22 and maximum rise, vignetting is containable. The aperture ring has no clicks so I set it halfway between 16 and 22 to get a shutter speed OK for hand holding. Relatively straight print.

Tony, that's one impressive bit of execution. I was sure it was LF & when I saw otherwise - my eyes got big. 'Handsome, but so clean & crisp.

Tony, many thanks for the link, I wasn't sure if one would get complete coverage with that much shift. Regardless, that amount of coverage with the maximum shift, is very workable in the darkroom, as long as one is aware of it, that is.
When these first came out, I was very intrigued and thought they would be ideal for my walk around towns when overseas jaunts, instead I use a 24mm lens as a compromise.
Heading overseas this year and have decided to take a 24/50/105 set of lenses and a body.
Having no aperture ring clicks is probably a good thing, one can certainly fine tune the exposure in bits of a stop.
Mick.
