Norwegian Folk Museum 3

Oslo Camera Club and The Norwegian Folk museum had a collaborative effort to promote better photography skills. I took part in the low light photography session, so these are taken without flash, just natural light from the windows and doors of the building.

Birger,Terrific series. These are impressive, especially technically. Can you share the lens you used here, and also if the camera was handheld or on a tripod? Thanks!Shawn

Very nice! There's a thread going somewhere on APUG about photos resembling old Dutch painting. This could almost be a candidate! There's something timeless about the light on the wood and flesh. Print that!

Thanks for the responses.I used a tripod, it is quite dark inside these houses. (Shuttertime up to 1 second).I used the following lenses, for number 1: SMC Pentax 6x7 1:4 55mm number 2: SMC Pentax 67 1:2.8 165 mmFor number 3 I'm uncertain, I either used the 55 mm or a SMC Takumar 6x7 1:2.4 105 mm

Agree re the Dutch painting, amazing. If you darken down those floorboards and maybe the whole image a bit then you have a Rembrandt for sure!
