North Carolina Stream

On our way back from Florida recently, we decided to take the long way, and meander through the Blue Ridge, and Great Smokey mountains. This photograph was taken beside the road where a really interesting stream was flowing despite rather low water.

negative scan that really isn't nearly as good as the print.
I like it, interesting movement and composition. This is one I would love to see the print in person. It's the type of shot that when you get just the right tones on the print makes a print that really sings - and makes neg scans so disappointing by comparison. It's the one drawback of online galleries - neg scans and print scans just can't do justice to the real thing.

Nice work, John. The tones themselves seem to create the movement in this more than anything else... very well done. Shawn
