Nonna with Adam

Another portrait of my grandmother, this time with my younger son. Didn't quite get the cooperation I had hoped for! Arguably, the two most stubborn people I know!

You may not have gotten the cooperation you wanted, but you certainly got a great image.

Great, engaging photograph! I can almost hear the chatter between these two people, as ages come together. I also like how three elements of the picture (the line of the floor, and the railings on the chairs) reinforce and accent the diagonal from upper left to lower right formed by your grandmother's glance at her great grandchild. It's a combo of emotional and visual elements that reinforce each other. That really works well -- very interesting.

Suzanne,
Make sure you give your son a copy of this photo, too. I think he'll enjoy cherish it in later years. I love this shot.

This is fabulous, Suzanne! One can see that they are really stubborn people
It's also one of the photographs that I believe Adam will enjoy a lot when is he getting older. BTW, Ethol Plat. II - what's that?
