I'm sure you had fun trying to find which line you'd use as the level in this picture. And you seem to have chosen the steps, which are sort of the visual introduction to the house. It's like "come on in" and from that point everything goes awry. Even the no trespassing sign is rather humorous in that it often refers to not stealing anything, as if there is anything here worth stealing. It's a great shot, great textures, and has great human interest. Because we always seem to look at houses like this and wonder who once lived here and what their lives were like. This was once a new "straight" house, and probably vibrant and emotional. Someone once called this home. Really good job.
I always find these shots to be so interesting. But I have problems with making them look great with a very flat subject. If you over contrast them if looks sh-tty. over expose -underexpose what ever. most of the time weathered wood is tough to print. Then going and scanning it, OMG then you want to cry. The only thing I would do different is burn the corners in to bring your eye more to the center. other than that great job.
