I have to ask. Is this a print? It looks manipulated (halo around the hat). Forgive me if I'm wrong.
It's a very nice photograph with wonderful tonal qualities.

One of the greatest portraits I have seen in a long while, as I have said before david. The burning on the background is the perfect choice for the subject. Makes it very moody. K.

I can only agree -- the light, the tone, the burning (well done)...this print is what I think of when I think of a terrific print.

Yes it is a print but scanned with a rather inferior scanner. Thanks everyone (again Kal) I'm very proud of this and very excited about my adventure into film.
