Nikon FG Test 03

testing the NIKON FG body I have taken over from my Wife -- I used very old 1995 dated Kodak P3200 film in a short length -- exposures look good, The 'wind-on' it NOT as 'Smooth' as the FE or FE2 bodies though.
Location
Brentwood, England

auto at f2.5
Film & Developer
1995 dated Kodak P3200 processed in Home-Made MICROPHEN Formull 1+1 for 9 mins at 20oC

The patio looks familiar (its nice), but the guy's expression is fun - like he's expecting something funny or interesting is about to happen.
Something is just not right - getting the results from ancient film like that. Maybe you could do an article about how to select/use/process the old stuff? You sure make it look good.

The 'Old Stuff'is film I have been given over many years and kept in fridge -- I usually do a short length and test in developers - sometimes the times given in the Massive Dev Chart are not correct -- for example-- for THIS film it says' 13.5 mins for Microphen 1+1 but I am finding in MY mix 9 mins is even a little too long -- if I find any more of same batch I will try 8.5 mins.

Ah. Peter, Thank You!
