testing the NIKON FG body I have taken over from my Wife -- I used very old 1995 dated Kodak P3200 film in a short length -- exposures look good, The 'wind-on' it NOT as 'Smooth' as the FE or FE2 bodies though.
I remember a similar composition a while back & liked it then. Between the radial pavers, the bench, the round planters framed by the walls, this flows. The visual excursion is most pleasant. 'Never played w/ an FG (or most other Nikons), but this one seems to deliver.
Yes -- I have shown similar 'test subject' taken with my British 'Ensign Selfix Model 12/20' and it seemed to give a double-exposure as I released the shutter . I go on my 'Beat My Cancers Exercise Walk' most days around town with Old cameras and Old Film !
The shutter is a little more clunkier than the FE2 iirc. But the FG does have a nice feel to it if you like small cameras.
And the exposure compensation dial is a treat. -The dial release is in a convienient location, wherease almost every other camera it requires 3 hands to use.
