Nigella 3

Nigella 3

'Nigella' seed capsule's, photographed with an old condenser taped onto the front of my lens. The capsules range in size; from just under two centimetres, to a little over an inch. The depth of field was razor thin, and the front of the lens an inch away from the flower at most

The colours are a little off on this scan.... a bit too heavy.

Wonderful effect.

They're all strong. But this is like superman! Very nice!

Thanks all! These were very fun to make.

PS: the flaring of the highlights is a result of natural grease being rubbed gently over the condensor lens.
