I hate to say this, because I know your portrait style and I like the soft focus effect, but it almost seems like you missed focus on this guy. His shirt pocket and his collar is where I think the ideal focus would be. But hey, it's all soft, so maybe it doesn't matter.
 
I actually think that having the face slightly out of focus works very well on this portrait. I like it.
 
In-camera glowing effect(?) in purpose or not doesn't matter.
 
Thinking about this picture and the next one right after it which I'll go and post in a minute, the wind had kicked up and we waited perhaps 3 minutes for enough of a lull to trip that shutter. At some point with the depth of field of an 18" f4 lens and all the other factors like 1/5 sec exposures, is the subject in the same place as he was 3 minutes ago etc. etc., you pull this film out of the soup and you're just beyond tickled that you got something usable. I like it just how it is.
