Jim, I'd like to see you do a portrait with this lens. To tell the truth, it's not my favorite of your lenses for still life.
 
Thanks. I agree. The Pinkham is hard to beat for still life and that may hold true for portraits too. Much to learn. This lens is much less soft than it's Pinkham series IV cousin. Less so than the Eidoscop also. Still with the right person in front of it, there may be no equal. Or maybe the right person behind it
