testing out a leitz wetzlar 250mm projector lens on the speed graphic. I thought it was ~f2.5 but it looks more like f4 - the negatives came out underexposed and I had to push them a lot during scanning.

Still beautiful, and those rich blacks are gorgeous. The light is exquisite.

Very special. And..it goes to show the quality of the Leitz lenses.

Perfect, love the darkness with just enough light to work so perfectly.

I don't have photos of this specific setup, but here is its alternative setup, my old Anniversary Speed Graphic with the Leitz Wetzlar Hektor 150mm/f2.5 lens:

I sold the Anniversary a year ago because I got a Pacemaker, but I kept the lens. It's mounted on a wooden lensboard, which I trimmed to make it fit to the smaller Pacemaker lensboard.

The 250mm/f4 (I still haven't been able to find out its official name, I think it's a "Diaron") is pretty much the same beast like the Hektor, only you have to fully extend the bellows to get a close-up portrait.

I need to buy myself a Speed at some point, so versatile and I love plonking any old bit of glass in front of film to see what happens. Well done and thanks for the inspiration.
