I have a new to me Bronica GS-1 6X7 with 110mm Macro lens and metered prism finder. I'm learning this format and this image was taken in Automatic meter function. I have no idea what the shutter speed was but the lens was at f-11. I had lost the snap on filter the day before and used a Sunpak yellow flash filter hand held in place with one hand and balancing with the other.
This scan of the print is without any manipulation, No sharpening, no balance or contrast adjustments. At the print stage I burned the foreground sand about 1/3 stop more.
I'm using Delta 400 as I thought the added speed (Usually I shoot Delta 100) would give me some leeway in holding the camera still. Then after the first roll my Xtol failed and it took another roll to convince myself that actually happened. I brewed up some home made D-76 and this is what I got.
