What was he actually "saying/conveying " His expression tend to suggest that it's "praise the Lord and pass the ammunition rather than the "meek inheriting the earth"

You're very perceptive Pentax. He was giving me a nice rant, ranging from incoherent to old school preaching. I talked with him several times over a few months and he was a boozer, so his moods were all over the map. It took a while for him to trust me. I only took photos after a few meetings.
