Very nice..... but I always wonder, why do we love trains? We do, of course, I know I do... I have miles of train negatives, even a train book I did some years back that is pretty good, too. Is it the tracks as this image suggests? Or the size of the cars and engines? Can't say, but it is worth thinking about. But this is a nice image, Thomas. Logan

Logan, thank you for your kind words. To me I'm trying to represent more in this picture than just the trains. It is a long term project exposing one of the very strong foundations of Minnesota's economy, and how after World War 2 much of the wheat in the world was supplied by states here in the Midwest of America to feed those that were hungry. Today it's a much more silent endeavor, one that I think few remember, but still important. Hence the title 'Never Sleeps'.
I don't know why people like trains; maybe because they were so revolutionary in connecting the far ends of our continents? Very symbolic of a very rapid race to globalization.
