At this distance and allowing for a little lack of detail in the face, your Dad reminds me of profile shots I have seen of the late Rocky Marciano in the later years of the 1950s. It's the jaw line and stance that does it.

She's saying " Don't worry, I'll let go of the rope if that Archie Moore comes any closer"

This shot will be a family heirloom in years to come.
