thanks fellows. =) these stands have been a part of my world since I was a child, having grown up in a family of hunters and lovers of the Pennsylvania wilderness. I gave up hunting (at least with the intention of ever shooting anything - I'm actually a vegetarian) when I was a teenager though I continued to go with friends and just enjoy the world from the perspective of these stands. I've helped build several and started photographing those back in 2008. The series is moving slowly but it's something that has been drawing more and more of my attention as time passes.
