near Burnt Woods, Oregon

looking for something to keep me occupied, i've begun roaming the oregon coast range looking for spots on the map --tiny towns and former towns, places that got a name but maybe no longer exist except as a crossing ...... hopefully, i'lll find enuf to make a decent set of photographs ..... these three or four work prints going up today are the beginnings of that effort (this first one doesn't really qualify, actually, cause it's not really 'at' a place name, but a couple miles away; but i think it represents life in the coast range well, where the hills hide the horizon and razed forests are common....... anyway, all observations welcome
