What did you think of the CatLABS film, Bryan? I got a roll too and shot if off. I'll need to do more with it before I come to any conclusions about it, though.
I really like this. There is a lot of texture and a lot of subject matter to occupy the viewer. The hand-painted sign tells you where it is! So, how is the CatLAB film working out?
@Ken Bingham I like it, not my favorite film but I have no complaints. It develops well in beer and so far that’s all I’ve done with it so my experience with it isn’t typical. It’s great for the price.
@Kodachromeguy this was developed in a beer recipe that I let stand for close to a month as part of a test to see how long it’s shelf life is. This roll was a bit more under developed than I like but not bad for scanning. I like the film but there is other film that I prefer over this. It is fine grained and they said it’s comparable to Panatomic-X but I wouldn’t say it’s that good. I have some expired Panatomic-X in a bulk roll of 135 that I prefer over this.
