Up to my ****s in snow. I had to slug my way thru waist deep snow to get to this viewpoint. Then I worked for about 20 minutes tramping down a firm spot so I could stand and have some place to put the tripod. Well worth the effort though. This is a scan of a minilab print.
One of my favourite spots. Isn't it rather tricky to get in there with the snow? I found it tough enough to climb over all the rock formations without snow.
Actually my sweetie, Erna, took the photo. She was using a Canon F1 and Kodak NC160 film. I will have to dig out the resulting neg from my efforts. I have posted in the past a shot taken from just a bit to the right of where I was when this shot was taken.
