The shading of the hand and arm add a great deal to the portrait, making it more than a well lit intense head shot. The warm tones, skin texture/freckles, lack of lipgloss/lipbalm make it very natural and forward.

I agree. I never ask my models to use lipgloss/lipbalm or lipstick - especially on paper negatives.

One fun story about her and her sensoulaity..:

I friend of mine met with her. He was an adement non-smoker... she was a smoker..

He told me, that he watched how she put a cigarette in her mouth and lit it, and the only thing he could think of was: Oh - please do this again....:wink:

I am beginning to think we should all emigrate to Denmark, as there seems to be an inexplicable abundance of such girls around your studio over there in the north of the country :laugh:
 
How much light was available here? Her eyes are dilated which tells me not much ...she seem so comfortably intense and at the same gentle....wonderful Emil.

Just one single flash - so the pilot light will dilate the pupils...

She was comfortable being just her... very interesting.
