I agree with Michael, I like the tattoo being so prominent ... Or California Licence plate as I've heard these types of tattoo referred to as !

This is a great figure study. Is this a neg scan, or scan of a print?

Thanks for the comments everyone, I was in two minds about how to/whether to include the back piece but I guess it adds some visual interest and it's quite prominent anyway so hard to not include it in some shots.
It is a scan of the 8x10 print on Ilford MGIV RC glossy partially toned w Agfa Viradon.

Double perception. Where the head is?

PS. I know Anatomy,so no need for the answer.

Dave, while I really enjoy your print color, and it's an interesting pose - I have a really hard time with that blown out highlight on her visible leg. I don't know if you intended it that way or not. In my humble opinion you could make a pretty good print a lot better and more balanced.

Thomas, you're right the highlght is somewhat blown, it's a combination of things, 1)it was weak in the original print, 2)the toning has bleached the highlights a bit and 3) scanning has lost a bit more (there is some tone left in the actual print). When I get a chance I'm going to reprint it with a bit of a burn on that area.
